The Class 17 startups are:

Adee

Adee is maximising global digital accessibility for all websites and platforms. With over 9,000 people already using the validating plugin Adee is expanding to a complete SaaS platform. Via Adee designers, developers, and companies can validate their accessibility standards early in their design process which ultimately saves them time, money and ensures that they are legally compliant while allowing better core design decisions.

Compassion Creamery

Compassion Creamery is the world’s first oat based cream cheese. Compassion Creamery crafts artisanal oat creme cheese that is plant-based and free from dairy, nuts, soy, and coconut. Other vegan cheeses on the market have little nutritional value, made with coconut oils and simple starches. Compassion provides flexitarians a healthy, nourishing option that is delicious and sustainable.

Jeddle

Jeddle is creating the ultimate learning companion for students, unlocking individual potential through online resources that are practical, syllabus-specific and geared towards academic success. Already partnered with 38 high schools in NSW, Jeddle is expanding its reach beyond the HSC to help more students across a broader range of subjects.

Jinolo

Jinolo is creating an easy, cloud solution for CAD file collaboration, review and sharing. Currently professionals are limited by file size, software access and there is a significant risk around file revision and tracking. Jinolo aims to save engineering teams time, money and enable them to communicate with greater ease for better project delivery.

LeukBook

Most Australian women — 66% — wear size 14 and above, yet no one-stop shopping experience exists for this segment.

Major fashion marketplaces that include the size range do so as an afterthought, lacking fit information and offering unpalatable curations. LeukBook is a global fashion marketplace, dedicated to creating the world’s best shopping experience for size 14+ women.

Metaboly

Metaboly is changing the treatment of type 2 diabetes. Existing methods fail to address the root lifestyle habits that drive the condition. Metaboly has created a hybrid model that addresses the reality of what people living with type 2 diabetes need: accountability, communication and ongoing support from clinical practitioners, while providing more meaningful, consistent education about their health.

Ride Hub

Ride Hub is a “4S Solution” for e-mobility: sales, service, spare parts and surveys. The future of transport is electronic, yet 95% of retailers selling e-rides do not offer the much-needed post purchase service support.

Ride Hub aims to be the solution to the rising e-mobility Australia by providing the go-too solution for any e-ride servicing needs.

Treat

It’s hard to organise a gift or special moment for someone at a venue, especially when you’re not there. Treat is bringing the gift registry to the modern age allowing organisers to invite anyone to gift from a personal wishlist and ensures that it’s instantly fulfilled by the venue.

Urbern

Removing the guesswork, Urbern gives buyers and renters confidence in deciding where their future homes should be. Urbern generates a unique rating for locational convenience at any specific address worldwide in less than 8 seconds. The rating includes vital considerations such as walkability, dining, transport, access to lifestyle resources.

VidUp

VidUp is a video automation platform that helps creators convert literal scripts or general footage into polished videos in under a minute. Users simply upload their content and specify the style of video they’d like, then using AI, VidUp renders a complete, edited video.
